Paper: Artificial Lift Producing at High Rates

Any fifty-minute discussion of artificial lift can be only an overview. It is impossible to cover the four major types -- rod pumping, electrical submersible pumping, hydraulic pumping and gas lift -- comprehensively in such a time frame. Nonetheless, I hope to give you a little better understanding of what the major considerations should be when selecting, designing, installing, operating, or repairing high rate artificial lift systems.
