Ed is currently the Production Technology Manager for ConocoPhillips in Midland, Texas and prior to joining COP he was the Corporate Production Manager for Concho Resources where he worked in various management positions since 2010. Other roles include working for Apache, Cambrian management, Schlumberger IPM, Coastal Management and Fiberflex Inc.
Ed graduated from Texas Tech University in December 1989 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Petroleum Engineering and has been a member of SPE since 1985. He has been a board member since 2015 for the Southwest Petroleum Short Course prior to serving as General Chair in 2014. He is a proud Red Raider and an avid football fan. He is second generation Petroleum Engineer as his father (Jaime Delgado) received his degree from the University of Tulsa in 1960. He is a proud father of three beautiful daughters and is married to Cindy Delgado for over 30 amazing years. They have called West Texas their home for over 35 years.
