Kara Walling

Kara Walling graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering where she was a four-year member of the NCAA Division II softball team. She began her career in environmental consulting, working in the oil and gas sector and focused on SPCC plans and Phase I/Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. She then moved to NOV Tuboscope as an Artificial Lift Technical Sales Engineer, specializing in rod pump systems. After three years in that role, she moved to ExxonMobil as a Production Engineer over CBP assets and Delaware Texas assets. Kara has experience in rod pump, gas lift and ESP design with a focus on improving reliability and decreasing failure rates. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2-year-old son as well as playing tennis and softball.
