Araceli Rivera has nearly 10 years of experience in artificial lift, specifically in ESPs. She holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from ITESM in Mexico City. She began her career working for a government-funded project in geothermal energy in Cuernavaca, Mexico. A year later, she was granted an opportunity in the oil and gas sector and moved to the United States to install and operate ESPs in the Bakken. She has honed her ESP knowledge to design, operate, monitor and optimize ESPs for a variety of operators in the Rockies. She performed as domain expert for submersible pumps, supporting all ESP applications in the United States, providing technical expertise, and exploring new ways to enhance customer experience. She has worked at ChampionX since 2022 as a Sales Engineer in the Permian Basin. Araceli is passionate about providing solutions and using her technical expertise to facilitate and improve customer support. She has a deep love of nature and spends personal time enjoying skiing, mountain biking, hiking and rock climbing.
